We’re looking for unique and peculiar design, art and illustration-based objects. These may include products (pins, stickers, totes, postcards, cards, shirts etc.), prints, books, stationary and artworks. Apply as an individual or as a group, but note that all items need to be produced locally.

One of the things you’ll find on my new site is that I now sell tattoo tickets for R350 (link in my linktree).

What’s a tattoo ticket? It’s a small donation that gives you my permission to use or adapt one of my existing illustrations for a tattoo. You’ll get a downloadable certificate to show your tattoo artist, and you’re welcome to request a high-res file from me so your tattoo doesn’t look like beast Jesus. (There’s nothing stopping you from just getting the tattoo without my permission, but a tattoo ticket is just better manners:)

I spent most of December rebuilding my site, but I haven’t gotten round to sharing it yet. I’ll be revisiting some older work that I never got round to posting back then.

Here are some pieces from 2015 that formed part of Salon91’s ‘Stellar’ group show curated by Monique Du Preez. I’ve lately started revisiting some of these pieces as open edition tile prints. You can find them in my new shop on ninatorr.com

They are not always successful at these tasks, because they are not all that frightening, but they do the best they can.

Super excited about my piece for the ‘Flower’

Super excited about my piece for the ‘Flower’ exhibition opening at @no_end_art this Sat at 10:00.

When I opened the show’s visual prompt some of the pieces fell out and I was reminded of a snow globe. I thought it would be funny if the viewer was tempted to shake the artwork, while not being sure whether it is allowed or not.
